I need help paying my electric bill. Necac says they will pay up to $300 but first I have to come up with the other $800. I have numerous medical problems and can't work, I have a 10 year old daughter with heart problems. I lost my 15 year old in October to a car accident. My boyfriend does odd jobs and such but that doesn't bring in much money. We had been on a payment plan with the electric company to pay the current bill and an old balance, but last month we didn't have the full amount. They said we could make a partial payment but did'nt tell us that if we made only the partial payment that we'd be kicked off of budget billing. Anyway, they sent me a disconnect for $1200, the full amount we were paying on. The electric and gas was shut off 2 days ago. We borrowed a generator so that we can at least run the refridgerator and an electric griddle to cook on. I have asked everyone I know to loan me the money but no one has it. I can pay it back at about $100 a month. Thank you for any help at all. Also if you decide you want to help me, I will send you my account number and stuff so that you are sending money straight to the electric company instead of to me, that way you'll know it's going where it's supposed to.
